Brien Barnett
My name is Brien Barnett, and I’m a professional copy editor and journalist. I spent years learning the industry and working in newspapers (reporter, editor, copy editor), radio (on-air and other roles), and television (control operator and staff). I’m a graduate of the University of Montana-Missoula’s reputable School of Journalism (1997). From literally building newspapers with wax copy to developing the early websites of a medium-sized newspaper, I have navigated journalism and public affairs throughout my career. My current role as the owner and copy editor of my own editing firm, based in Poland, is not my only aim. I hope to return to a team environment and help deliver high-quality reporting and editing to an eager readership.
